E-mails

" Babi: Nuclear energy produces 60 % of Ontario's power and the Darlington power station ( Candu Reactor ) is part of it. Andy is doing Millwright training there as part of his Millwright coarse at Cambrian College in Sudbury. He still has to go back to school 2 more times and then he gets his certification. I might add here ( because I'm his father and I love him dearly ) that he is a very good boy. He is a little bit shy ( but so am I ) but he is very cute. He was adorable when he was a little boy and every time I see his pictures of years ago it brings tears to my eyes. He is still adorable to me and every time he comes home I have to hug him. Andy would never hurt a fly and he is very likeable. I love all my kids very much but I must admit that Andy has a special place in my heart. It has nothing to do with him being a boy because I love my girls so very much. Maybe it's because he is my only boy - I don't know but I really think you will like Andy very much. I also work at a nuclear facility and where I work is where the Candu Technology comes from. ( Candu - Canadian Deuterium Uranium ) The Candu reactor at Darlington and other stations in Canada and around the world was invented at Chalk River Laboratories ( CRL ) where I work. We have the NRU reactor here that is used for neutron research and to support the Candu technology. The most important product of this reactor is radio isotope production for medical use. We produce 70 percent of the worlds medical isotopes right here. Now, is there anything else you want to know - LOL ------------Cheers -- big hugs --------- Tom "
